Stratum Wines by Bodega Cerrón
Situated just outside Fuente Alamo in the Castilla de la Mancha region, Bodega Cerrón was established in 1895. After decades of selling their Monastrell grapes to the local cooperative, the family owners decided to go it alone and grow their own wine. The winery is now in the hands of the fourth generation, Juan José Cerdán, who runs the business with the help of his two siblings Lucía and Carlos. Juan José farms organically and according to biodynamic principles. He keeps yields low, does everything by hand and relies on indigenous yeasts to ferment his grapes. All his wines are vegan, meaning no animal products are used in the vinification process. T
