At La Zafra we take care of land that has been cultivated by five generations of our family in Monóvar (Alicante), under the watchful eye of «La Peña de La Zafra». We started with 1 hectare of vineyard of the Monastrell variety, native to the area, cultivated in a sustainable way, in dry land and pruned in glass (traditional), and we have been recovering another two hectares of the family for two years, which were about to be lost. We currently manage 7 hectares. We make our natural wine in a small micro-winery, with minimal intervention: natural wines without chemicals, correctors, or added sulfites.
