La Fleur Garderose is made by the Pueyo Family of Saint Emilion, the same people who have owned Chateau Belregard Figeac since 1853. Christophe and his uncle Jean-Paul own and operate 20 acres of vineyards bordering Libourne and Pomerol, where they produce four wines from Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Aged in cement for one year; no oak is used for ultimate freshness. Dark fruit flavors, plenty of minerality and fine tannins make this a great wine for the table.
